This quick green smoothie is packed with spinach, yet tastes tropical.  The frozen mango and banana make it creamy, while the orange and ginger give it a kick. The nut butter adds extra protein to keep you full longer.  One more bonus – it is toddler approved!

Ingredients (in the order I add them to the blender):

1 1/2 cups filtered water
1 banana
1 medium orange, peeled and quartered
3 cups loosely packed spinach
2 cups frozen mango
1″ ginger, peeled
2 TBS nut butter
1 TBS maple syrup

Place all ingredients in blender, and blend on high speed for 60-90 seconds or until smooth.
